The monster tail chop, I think is way better looking than the stock. It is a little pricey for the small metal license plate holder but I’m glad I bought it. Comes with a great instruction manuel plus pictures to go along with it. I had no problem installing it onto my ’05 Monster 620.

Got my tailchop for my M795 and took me around 40mins to install. The only downside is living in Vietnam where it rains for a while, The water sprays onto my back and helmet.

I installed the tail chop kit today and it looks great! I measured 1” back, taped the frame and used a set of tubing cutters that I have for plumbing and copper pipe. Took about 20-seconds to cut each side and was super clean and neat with no filing at all! Better way than a hack saw. Thanks, Scott LaCroix

Contrary to the website’s name, Monster Tail Chop actually helped me un-chop my tail on my M695. I purchased the bike used and the previous owner chopped the tail. After one rain ride I wanted the tail back. I was skeptical but contacted MTC for some guidance. Well, I received expert guidance and much more. Ty gave me great instructions on how to reverse the tail chop and even sold me the dowels to connect the tail to the frame. The Tail Chop kit was part of a bunch of work I was doing for my girlfriend’s birthday for her ’06 S2R Dark. I looked into a lot of different kits, and one thing that sold me on the Tail Chop was the amount of instructions. The step by step videos I watched over and over. I initially was nervous about cutting the frame since it wasn’t even mine. When the day to actually do it came, I was all set and zip! Done. No problem. Hello Ty  , just to let you know i have completed my tail chop on my monster and i am very pleased with the result . I have also replaced the factory tail light and indicator assembly with a LED  tail light and indicator and this has given the bike an awesome stance . I installed the kit on my wife’s monster replacing a carbon fiber fender she installed a couple of years ago.  The kit and the instructions were well thought out  it took me about 30 minutes. We weren’t happy with the look of the stock turn signals so I replaced them with small led signals.  I would highly recommend your product based on quality, ease of installation, and improvement in the overall look of the bike.  -Mike

Installed the tail chop on my 2008 695  as well as a led tail with integrated sequential signals. It was quick and easy even with my dual exhaust setup (I was worried). HUGE difference in look. Really classes things up. Thanks for the solid product at a reasonable price!

The stealth kit is awesome!  Powdercoat looks great and it is super light weight.  Other kits I have used were heavy and difficult to install.  It went on easily and is perfectly visible from behind.  This definitely is the best kit out there and makes my monster look like it should.

Got rid of the only part of the bike I disliked today, yep that ugly beer shelf.  The product arrived within a week (I live in France) and just like it said on the box, it only took 15 minutes to install.  I LOVE it. I took the plunge today and put a saw to my Monster’s frame.  I really like how it looks.  Great quality, excellent fitment, nice powdercoating, easy process with instructions if the video doesn’t do enough.  I went a step further and got a Buell Blast taillight to provide illumination to the license plate.  This allowed me to use the Short Bracket, cleaning up the tail even more.  Thanks for your work!  Jesse – Highlands Ranch, CO

I just got the regular tail chop kit for my M695 and the stealth kit for my S4RS  Perfect fit and finish.  I have had a couple different kits now and I literally threw them away in favor of these. The hardware was organized and the instructions were comprehensive enough for the tail chop to be completed in 40 minutes. My monster now looks cleaner and classic without the beer tray.
